I.Role Overview
As an Engagement Manager at Anura Partners, you will lead strategic initiatives, manage client relationships, and drive successful project outcomes. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams, leveraging your expertise to deliver exceptional results.
II.Key Responsibilities
1. Project Leadership: Structure projects and oversee end-to-end project delivery, including being the reference point for the client and ensuring alignment with client objectives. Define project storyline. Provide quality assurance and challenge content. Provide content feedback and assist on roadblocks. Think ahead on project structure.
2. Problem Solving and Strategy Development: Develop engagement strategies, hypotheses, and work plans.
3. Team Management: Lead and mentor project teams, fostering a collaborative environment.
4. Resource Management: Manage resource allocation from the staffing point of view.
5. Client Development: Build strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
III.Key Requirements
1. Experience: Minimum 5-6 years of management consulting experience.
2. Education: Advanced degree (Master’s, MBA, or PhD) from a reputable institution.
3.Team skills: Coaching, guidance and grooming of junior members
4.Language Skills: Excellent written and spoken English.
5.Analytical Acumen: Strong analytical skills to dissect complex problems.
6.Global Exposure: Exposure to international business environments.
7.Personal Attributes: Resilience, adaptability, and effective communication.

5.Late night dinner: In case working hours exceed 8pm and 11 hours of work on that day, employee may get dinner at the company’s expense up to a value of ZAR 150 per person.
6.Late night transport: In case working hours exceed 8pm, employee get transport home at the company’s expense up to a value of ZAR 100 per person if the company driver is not available. One team member may pay for multiple team members but must indicate the team members covered when expensing. If late night dinners exceed the frequency of twice a week, the project manager needs to be informed.
7.Company Driver: Employees may use the company driver at no cost for work-related trips is he/she is available and not occupied with the Partners or Managers.
8.Professional Coaching: Employees may access a professional career and life coach at the company’s expense after approval of a Partners once per quarter. The content of the coaching is fully confidential and no information is shared with any other Anura team members or any third party. Our coach is based in New York and does sessions via Video Call.
9.Flexibility around Children: If the employee has children or dependents, they have flexibility to pick them or drop them at school unless this continuously interferes with work.
If the child is ill, you may either work from home for up to 10 days per year or hire a “nanny” for the sick days to be able to come in to work at the expense of the employer (up to 10 days per year, in alignment with a Partner).
